We may also offer a loyalty program that will provide certain perks, such as rewards and exclusive offers, as well as other programs like sweepstakes or contests, in exchange for your personal information. These offerings are made from time to time and in Artisana Organics’ sole discretion. Any state-permitted financial incentive we offer will reasonably relate to the value of your personal information, as data is required to facilitate the financial incentive. Our products are not marketed to individuals under the age of 16 or such other age designated by applicable state laws (“minors”). We do not knowingly collect or ask for personal information from minors.

You do not need to create an account with us to submit a request to exercise your privacy rights. However, we may ask for additional information as is necessary to verify requests.

 

a. Response Timing and Format

We use good faith efforts to respond to a verifiable consumer request within forty-five (45) days after its receipt. If we need more time (up to 90 days after the initial receipt of the request), we will inform you of the reason and the needed extension period in writing. 


b. How to Designate an Authorized Agent

Consistent with certain state privacy laws, you may designate an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf. In order to designate an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf, you must provide a valid power of attorney and other information as we may reasonably request in order to provide proof that you gave the agent signed permission to submit the request. In this case we may require that you verify your own identity directly with us or directly confirm to us that you provided the authorized agent permission to submit the request. A request may also be submitted by a person who is acting as a conservator for the consumer.

 

We may deny a request from an agent that does not submit proof that you have authorized them to act on your behalf.  We may also deny a request from an agent that does not meet the requirements for authorized agents under applicable state privacy laws.
