Vegan butterfinger treats that are a better for you version of the candy you love so much. Our Cashini is the perfect substitute for peanut butter and makes this recipe shine. A creamy and nutty flavor that adds that extra flare to the recipe. These are gluten free and low on sugar.
1 cup Artisana Organics Cashini Butter
1 tbsp Vanilla Extract
2-3 cups mashed up corn flakes
1/2 cup maple syrup
Melted unsweetened chocolate chips (add a little coconut oil to make it harden better)
Mix in a bowl or use your hands to mix it all up. (fun to do with children if you opt for hands).
Make sure it's all mixed well together and then roll into little nugget sized shapes.
Melt the chocolate chips over a double broiler and dip the nuggets. Add a little coconut oil to the melted chocolate ( about a 1-2 tsp) to help harden and set nicely.
Place on parchment paper and freeze for 30 min or until the chocolate is firmly set.
Optional: add turmeric powder for that extra color and health jazz.
Baking Tip: Store in the freezer and enjoy when you want an extra treat and perfect crunch.
